Each RW Encouraged to Have Own Waste Bank

West Jakarta Sub-dept. of City Cleanliness, Sarifudin, encouraged each community units (RW) for having garbage bank. It is aimed to decrease the trash volume which reaches 1,500 tons per day.

The resident must be able to sort which valuable garbage and not. It can be realized through garbage bank

According to him, the highest garbage producer in West Jakarta is in Tambora Sub-district by 250 tons per day.

North Jakarta to Add More Waste Banks

"We have coordinated with related official in Tambora to solve this matter. One of the ways is providing garbage bank," he disclosed.
